Hoist H-8 Functional Trainer
The gym feeling. Zero commute.
One machine replaces the cable trainer, Smith machine, lat pulldown, and row station a real home gym would need. Delivered to your door and fully installed.
The consolidation
Everything a real home gym needs. None of the square footage.
A proper strength setup means four separate stations and a room built around them. The Hoist H-8 folds all four into one corner — so the rest of the room stays a room.

The Hoist H-8 Functional Trainer in Action
No stock photography — this is the unit installed and running.
Whisper-quiet, by design
Built for a house, not a warehouse.
Silent Steel® weight stacks use machined bushings at every plate, so there's no metal-on-metal clang — just smooth, quiet resistance. Train before the house wakes up or after it's gone to bed.
- 400 lbs of total resistance across dual Silent Steel® stacks
- Starting resistance as low as 38 lbs for anyone in the house
- Sits flush in a single corner — no room build-out required
Every angle, one machine
28 ways to move. Zero ways to plateau.
180° rotating columns and 28 independent pulley points mean the machine adjusts to the workout — not the other way around. Train shoulders Monday, hips Wednesday, full-body Friday, without changing rooms.
- 180° rotating columns for independent or dual-side training
- 12 rack-out positions with a single-handed adjustment system
- Two people can train two different movements at once
Guidance, built in
Not sure where to start? The machine shows you.
An integrated touchscreen walks you through targeted movements by muscle group — so a $7,250 machine doesn't sit there waiting for a trainer to show up.
- Guided exercise selection by muscle group
- Integrated phone/tablet rack built into the frame
- Central storage keeps every accessory in reach, nothing on the floor
Built for how you actually live
Before the school run. After the flight lands.
The Hoist H-8 doesn't ask for a block of your day — it asks for a corner of your house. Ten minutes before a call, thirty after ski season ends, a full session on a Sunday. It's there, silent, and ready every time.
- Free 3–25 lb dumbbell set and rack included
- Full accessory kit included — no extra purchases needed
- The same equipment standard behind Four Seasons and NFL training facilities
